4th China/Germany Media Forum starts on July 17 in Leipzig!

The 4th edition of the China/Germany Media Forum, organized by the Robert Bosch Foundation and Global Times, one of China's largest newspapers, and co-organized by CMM-I, will take place in Leipzig, Germany, from July 17-21, 2013.

The first edition took place in China - in Shanghai at the World Expo 2010 - and the latest event took place in Chengdu, Sichuan, in September 2012. The 2nd China/Germany Media Forum was held in Berlin in 2011. The 4th edition thus marks this prestigious event's return to Germany.

The often one-sided and biased China-reporting in Germany and reporting on Germany in China are indicators for the necessity of intensive and rational dialogue between China and Germany. To enable this dialogue, CMM-I, on behalf of the Robert Bosch Foundation, found a Chinese partner in Global Times and co-organizes the China/Germany Media Forum for the fourth year in a row.
